BIC Services to Undergraduate Students:

Ask-Bus-Librarian BIC staff answers questions in person, by phone or via e-mail.
Personal Research Consultation Individual Research Consultations are available, by appointment, for Notre Dame undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and staff. Meet with a Business Librarian to identify useful sources, learn to search databases effectively, or just get started on your papers or projects.
Data Finder and Services BIC staff locates and extracts data needed for teaching or research from BIC database such as Datastream, Bloomberg.
Alerts BIC staff set-up or assist you in setting up alerts to track an issue/topic, industry or company, or when you or your work is mentioned in the press.
Citation Support (RefWorks, etc.) BIC staff assists you in managing your citations.
In-Class/In-BIC Presentation/Orientation BIC staff comes to your class or brings your class to the BIC and instructs students in using the BIC resources and services.
Book/Article Delivery (DocDel/ILL) BIC staff retrieve books or articles from the library and deliver it to you in the form you request: paper copy, PDF, or electronic version.
Electronic Journals Collection BIC staff can recommend and help search for specific electronic journals to meet students' research needs.
Paper/Tangible Journal Collection BIC staff can recommend the paper, fiche, microfilm journal to help with your research needs.
Book Collection The physical book collection housed in Hesburgh Library meets teaching and research needs. (Online catalog)
Databases and Data Sets The biographic databases or numeric database and data sets purchased and maintained by the Hesburgh Libraries/BIC meets teaching and research needs.
Book, Journal or Data Purchases BIC staff can help recommend books or journals, locate data sets or databases to support your research needs.
